As for the tough times ahead I tend not to go there. I honestly believe we contribute to our own life by the way we think. As a professional artist I chose to take this time to improve my painting and marketing skills. It is also a time to grow emotionally and spiritually. It is amazing when we focus on the good around us more good comes our way. This may sound silly but it works for me. Give yourself a gift by listing everything you are thankful for each day. Be grateful you are an artist.
This is also a time to regroup and look at how we spend our time and money. Going back to the basics is not a bad thing.
I think we as artists need to remind ourselves we are the luckiest people in the world.

Gwen, you're right on the money. When we focus on gratitude and all the blessings we have, we enjoy even more. Thanks for stopping by and adding your thoughts. All the best to you this year!
